Italian immigrants mostly settled Ducktown in the early 1900s and named it for the duck houses they built along the bayfront, where they raised poultry and waterfowl. With the success of "The Atlantic City Outlet - The Walk", the Ducktown area of Atlantic City is seeing a revitalization centered around local businesses including Rando's Bakery.
